metres , with a sketch of Heine ' s life ; and Mr . Thomas Hood has published a volume , of which the chief poem is entitled
" The Daughters of King Daher . " A collected edition of Mrs . Hemans' poems is again published ; and the first series of Miss
Procter ' s " Legends and Lyrics " has reached a sixth edition . Among miscellaneous books we find a work by Miss Meteyard ,
entitled u Hallowed Spots of Ancient London ; " also , in the press ,. " Celebrated Friendships" by Mrs . Thomson , author of the "
Me-, moirs of the Duchess of Marlborougli ; " the thirteenth thousand of the " Near and Heavenly Horizons" by Madame de Gasp arm ;

and edited by the , author of " The Heir of Redelyffe . " The attention _, of the clerg ' yof secretaries of village reading clubs , and of masters of
