They have refused to recognise the practice of giving commissions to induce a preference in bringing business to them ; and in the extension of the Society by means of Agencies ., they have kept steadily in view the importance of its being represented—Whether in the case of Ag « nts or Medical Advisers—by persons in whoiu they can place full reliance .
