Conversion of the Jezvs * Sir , I have long ago wished to ad . dress a few lines to you in relation
to the Jews , and on perusing this day some papers printed by the Society established in London for promoting the conversion of that people to Christianity , I have been induced to put that wish in execution . The motives of that
society appear to me to be laudable , and , I doubt not , will be ul # timately attended with Borne good effect * though I can by no means approve of ail their measures , or
of some of the sentiments they en * tegtaift , ; which eeeoi to me not well calctilattfU to answer the good purple-, th ^ Wve ii * view , that of b ? mgi « g ths encit ^ jt people « rf God to believe in him whom tfcey once

their scriptures than the Trinitarian . He was not 4 i priest in * deed , but an ingenious' artist , erf good sense and conduct . But as some Jews have been
converted to Christianity , 1 wish to know whether any of them are proper Unitarians r I conceive the question riot an improper one * and that some of your correspondents may be able satisfactorily to answer it . If all th&t have been
converted within a century be Trinitarians , and I think sonke of them are , I should be glad to know the reason , if any can be given . Ii
none be given , I should Almost suspect that we ert in supposing the Unitarian doctrine the f » ost acceptable toa Jew . Do the Jews themselves-generally declare . -the
