Mr . Spakks , recently pastor of the Unitarian Church in Baltimore , having retired from his pastoral charge , has purchased the establishment of the North American Review , and will , in future , be the Editor of the work . The liijrh character of this Review has procured for it
extensive currency and distinguished reputation , both in America and in Europe . It is now , in fact , in a considerable degree identified with the American literary character . We are assured , that it will lose nothing on the score of literary merit by the recent transfer . Mr . Sparks Is said to be a most accomplished scholar . —Man of Letters .
