C ., ^ May 1888 . , Dear Sir , ' I have great pleasure in announcing to you that , owing to the number of my Publications arid their increasing popularity , I have decided not to limit their sale to one Agent , but to open a House in London . You will therefore , in future , be able to obtain my Books at this address , . or through any of the Wholesale Houses . I am grateful for this opportunity of thanking you personally , and the Trade generally , for the kind and generous receptipn you have given to rriy Books during a number of years . As the first printer to attemptfthe production of Gift Books and Colour Books by these new processes , I am glad to be able to draw your attention to the enormous success my Books have obtained , and to assure you that no expense will be spared in the production of new lines which , I believe , will be far superior to any previous publications . * The Monotint i Seasons' Books which I printed and originated were an entirely new departure from any previous kind of Bookmaking , and had an absolutely phenomenal success . The Children ' s ^ fooks— ' All Round' the Clock , ' ' Christmas Roses / ' Under the Mistletoe / * Queen of the Meadow / and ' Christmas Tree Fairy / have all been through many Editions , and certainly have been the most successful Children ' s Colour Books ever produced . They , have been printed in several languages . ' Treasures of Art and Song' was also a new feature in Gift Books de luxe . These are some of my former productions , and they will be succeeded this season by a line of books better in every way . It is , therefore , with great confidence I ask you to reserve your orders for New Books until you have seen my Catalogue , a copy of which will shortly be sent you . 1 j My new place will be open on July 1 . Until then all communications should be addressed to me at 28 Paternoster Row . 1 Yours faithfully , ; ERNEST NISTER . 1 ' '' ' . ¦' ' . '"' 'vM ,
