A Teacher ' s Commentary on the CS-ospel of TCattheixr , by Richard Glover , Minister of Tyndale Chapel , Bristol . This book will be of great service to ministers as well as to
teachers . Its notes are not mere dry and hard compilations , but are interesting to read , and full of suggestiveness ; the style is simple and chasteand withal very fresh and vigorous . In
an unpretentious way the fruits of ripe scholarship , and a well-balanced Christian judgment 1 are here placed at the disposal of Sunday-school teachers . We congratulate the Sunday
School Union upon this excellent addition to its useful publications , and we heartily commend the volume to teachers , for both they and their scholars will benefit by the use of it .

The Child ' s Own Magazine . The bright and absorbing features of this cheap prize annual for children recommend it for a prominent place amongst the juvenile gift-books of the
season . Those who can only afford a small outlay for their young friends will find this to be
! one of the books that they may present with the certainty of its being appreciated . ^ A jr
