I Even a short r <* sum £ of the contents of these bulky volumes would I prove too lengthy , and we will only permit ourselves to give a simple I outline of the principal Headings under which these volumes are ranged , I BOOK 1 comprises over 300 sets of our General 'Artistic' Cards , I from 4 s . to g 6 s . per gross , most of which will be found to make a high I bid for poptclarity . I BOOK 2 . —Entitled the ' Raphael 9 Book—its contents headed by a I magnificent Replica in the Original Colours of Raphael ' s famous I masterpiece the 'Madonna Sixtina ? the ge 7 n of the Dresden Gallery ' , and I by far the finest in the world , its estimated value being over a Quarter I of a Million Sterling . As in the case of the * Ansidei Raphael , ' which I proved so phenomenal a sziccess , and to which this Replica forms a worthy I companion , we have expended over One Thousand Pounds , and more than I that Twelve the Months ' brilliant continuous daring — work a term upon in its wh rep ich ro a ductio write n r , in and last we montli believe s I I 'Art Notes' announced our decision to reproduce this marvellous picture— I will be found justifie d by results . Murillo , Correggio , and other famous I Old Masters have also been laid under contribution , and these , added to I Colotcred and Monotint Reproductio 7 ts of the Mode ?~ n Christmas Card School in varied forms and shapes , single and foldingmake , up a grand total of 1 50 sets of cards destined to make , and leave , their mark upon Season 1888-9 . BOOK 3 contains a full Line of the now indispensable Private Cards , in Etching , Mono , and Colour , and a continuation of that greatest of our last years successes , the 'Art Gem Panels , ' with their delicate UK ______ ¦ -2
