Mr . Edward P . Cook , editor of the Pall Mall Gazette , has , we are informed , written a
work entitled ' Ruskiniana , ' which Mr . George Allen will publish . The work has a statement of the Ruskin creednotes on Ruskin ' s Oxford
, lectures , and some chapters on different aspects of his work . Two editions are arranged for , one at six shillings and one at a guinea , the

No less than aeven million copies of Homer ' s * Penny */ Stories for the Peop le' are
now in circulation . The two last numbers issued are True to the King : a Tale of 1051 / and ' Under a Cloud . ' Editions of 50000 of
, each of these stories have just been printed . The stories of this series are not merely cheap , but wholesome and attractive , and we are
heartily glad to think that they have won so wide a welcome .
