The city Bench has not always been famous for its decisions , and it is , therefore , with special satisfaction that we direct attention to a recent judgment of that most able and indefatigable of ail city justices , Sir Robert Carden . The other day a poor wretched bill sticker was brought before him on a charge of defacing a building with indecent bills , and Sir Robert very rightly dismissed the miserable agent , and awarded the punishment—a fine of forty shillings—to the principal , a certain Dr .
