at what they had been hearing , and alter preaching they formed themselves into little parties in different parts of the town , and continued for better than an hour in the streets examining the arguments which had been advanced in the
sermon . I gave them a number of the tracts , for which they were very thankfoh Thursday , July ia . Preached ajt Hamilton , on the proper object and nature of Christian worship . The con * gregation was not yery Targe , but was respectable and attentive .

power , the truths of the gospel . A very large company of people from Paisley and the neighbouring towns , with the friends at Glasgow , met together in the evening and we spent several hours in Christian fellowship . Wednesday , July 18 . Took the coach
from Glasgow to Perth , where I arrived at eight o * clock in the evening . Having no Unitarian friend in the town , I prevailed upon a brother of one of our friends at Glasgow to accompany me to the Dean

of their religious sentiments ; and in the evening , on the important duty of pursuing and promoting right views of the Christian religion . The people here have taken a larger place of worship than they formerly had , it was well filled every part of the day , and
