In Jane 1789 , the Rev . Thomas Belsiiam resigned his situation as Tutor , on account of the change which had taken place in his theological sentiments : and the Academy was soon afterwards removed to Northampton , and placed under the care of the Rev . John Horsey .
N . B . The account of the Academy under Dr . Ashworth , to the year 1766 , is compiled chiefly from a paper communicated to me hy the late Rev . John Coi . f ., of Wnlvorhainpton .
