The morning sun is glancing light Over the distance grave , His rays are madly dancing bright Upon the ruffled wave , And ev ' ry leaf and ev ' ry flower Glow with his power .
The hells are ringing merrily , And , from his rocky cell , Echo , singing cheerily , Their tale again doth tell , That o ' er the waters clear and deep The zephyrs sweep .
The little birds are blithe and free , All nature seems to feel A gladness that doth well agree With yonder merry peal , And hill and vale and sky and day Are smiling gay . J . H . Field . * Perhaps to this division may also be referred Matt , xxiv , 31 . ' Luke xviii . 7 , 2 Pet , i , 10 .
