burden of ignorance , superstition , and iniquity , and made heirs of immortal hopes with which the blessings of this life , excellent as they are , can enter into no comparison . TREASURE IN HEWEN . _ Matthew vi . 19—21 , " Lay not up for yourselves treasures on earth * where moth and rust destroy , and where thieves break through aud steal ; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven , where neither moth nor rust destroyeth , and where thieves break not through nor steal ; for where your treasure is , there will your heart be also .
