HEALTH , LONG LIFE , AND HAPPINESS , SECURED BI THAT POPULAR MEDICINE NO Medicine yet offered to the world ever 10 rapidly attainedsuch distinguished celebrity : it is questionable if there be now any part of the civilised globe where Vte extraordinary healing virtues have not been exhibited . This signal success is not attributable to any system of advartisiug , bnV solely to the strong recommendations of parties cured by their use . Tha Prapricters of Parr's Life Pill ' s have now in their possession upwards af nfteen handrad letters , sevoral of them from Clergymen of the Church of England , many from distinguished issMiUng I Ministers , from gentlemen connected with the Army and ' . Navy , also from Members of Parliament , Merchants , and fast , though not least , from members of the 2 Ltdic . il Pro . fession , and a sltilful Analytical Chemist ; all speaking in the highest terms of the value « f this inestimable medicine . This is a mass ot ' evidence in its favour beyond all parallel . The extraordinary properties ' of this med ' eiaa are thus described by an eminent physician , who says , " After particular observation of tha action of Parr ' s Pills , 1 am determined , in my opinion , that the following are their btue properties : — " First—They inarease the strength , rtfiilst most Other medicines have a ' weakciing effect upon tha system . Let any one take from three ta four or six pills every tw # ntyfour hours , and instead of having weakensd , they will be found to have revived the animal spirits , and to have imparted a lasting strsngtli to th » body . " Seaondly—In their operation they go direct to the disease . 'After you have taken six or twelve pills you will experience their effect ; the disease upon you will become less and less by every dose you take , aud if you persevere m regularly taking from three to six pills every day , your disease will speedily be entirely removed from the system . them fair trial

Chelmsford , March 7 th , 1841 . Gentleman , —Having heard of your invaluable medicines as being a certain cure for that roost dreadful of nil diseases , I waajtomptcd to purchase a small box of your Pills , together with apot of your Samaritan Salve , for the cure of some malignant sores , the consequence of 11 neglected Syphilis , resolved to test their efficacy upon a patient who had been under the treatment of some of the most eminent surgwns , but whose advice availed Mm nothing . The party on whom I tried the effects of your justly named Samaritan Pills was a poor man , and who was dreadfully afflicted with the worst stage of the disease . Having given this patient the box of pills , together with the Samaritan Salve , I told him to call again and report progress , resolving to observe the merits ofa medicine so highly popular . A few days pnssed over without his calling on me , but on the fifth day he presented himself , and before I could utter a word , he fervently thanked me for having given him a medicine which had produced such unlocked for benefit . Gentlemen , I will not trouble you with the conversation that transpired between us ; suffice it , that after having taken . one large box of your Fills and applied another box of yeur truly Samaritan Salve , ho was perfectly restored , and is now in the enjoyment of that greatest of all blessings—good health . LOSBOS SxUTimKLTl CaITLK WiltUBT , MOSDIY , Jax . 1 'J . —During the past week the imports ol * live stock into London have been on a very extensive scale , viz ., 250 oxen and cows , and SOOsheep from Rotterdam ; 101 cows and oxen , and 150 sheep from llarlingen , and 4 'J cows , 2 !) oxen , and 370 sheep from Schiedam , in , generally speaking , excellent condition ; indeed , many of the cows have come to hand in first-rate order . To-day we bad on sale Slid foreign beasts , and 420 . ditto sheep , which attracted more than usual attention from the butchers , who purchased the whole on offer , at prices varvins ; from . £ 10 10 s . to £ 23 10 s . per head for the beasts ' , and ols . to 41 s . per head for the sheep . We are informed that the foreign beasts continue to carrv a large quantity ot " internal tat . At Hull . 40 beasts . 51
sheep , and 37 pigs bare been received from Holland , nearly the whole of which have been forwarded inti > the manufacturing districts . The Norfolk season for beasts having now commenced , upwards of 400 Scots and homebreds were received thence this morning , which , together with the arrivals from all other parts of England , were of very superior quality ; better , in fact , than we have observed on any previous market day during the whole of the present vear . From the northern districts i * > 00 shorthorns , from the western and midland counties 4 M 0 Uerefords , Dcvons , unit * . and the neighbourhood of the metropolis . The supply of beasts to-day being comparatively small , and the attendance of buyers large , the beef trade ruled steady at , in some few instances , a trifling advance in the quotations , the priniest Scots readily producing Is . Id . per Bibs ., at which a good clearance was effected by the salesmen . With sheep we were scantily supplied for the time of year , while the mutton trade was firm , at fully , but at nothing quotable beyond our last quotations . There were in the market about 300 shorn Leicesters , and nearlv 100 lambs from various quarters . The liumbeis o ' t calves were small , while the veal trade ruled steady at late rates . Prime small pigs moved off freely at extreme figures , otherwise the pork trade was inactive .
