A CERTAIN DISEASE CURED WITHIN ONE WEEK . Jn consequence of Dr . fFSkinson ' s extensive practice he has considered it advisable to retnovt from Sunslet , to 60 , bottom of Templar-streefy for the greater convenience of his patients , where he may be consulted as usual . . TYR- WILKINSON , Surgeon , No . 60 , Bottom of Templars Street , Leeds , continues , with JL / unabated : assiduity , to eradicate every species of Infection . ; In Tecent cases , a perfect cure is completed within a week , or no charge made for Medicines after the expiration of that period . And in those of the utmost inveteracy , where other . Practitioners have failed , a proper persereranc * in ISsjian p f treatment insures to the patient , a safe , well grounded , and lasting re-establishment , C 0 n « suited with the greatest secrecy aDan&nour , at bis house from nine to onej and from four till nine , and on Snndays till two . - He hopes that the successful , easy , a * a expeditious mode he hag adopted , of eradicating every symptom of a Gertain Disease , withoufany material alteration in diet , or hindrance of business , aad yet preserving the constitution _ in foil vigour and free from injury , will establish his claims for support . As this Disease-is one which is likely to be contracted whenever exposure takes place , it is not like xaany other visitors , oncein life , but on the contrary , one infection may scarcely have been removed , when ano&er may unfortaBately 1 » imbibed , therefore the Practitioner requires real judgment in . order to treat « Mh particular Case in such a manner as-not merely to remove the present attack , but to preserve the constitution unimpaired , in -case of a repetition at no distant period . The man of experience can avail himself of tie-greatest improvements in modern practice , by being able to distinguish between discharges of a specific and of a simple or mild nature , which can only be made by one in daily practice , after due consideration of all cirenmstanees . In the same manner at birth , appearances often take jlace in children , which call for a proper knowledge and acquaintance with the disease , in- order to discriminate their Teal nature , and which may be the means of sowing domestic discord , unless managed if thi Surgeon -wrfii propriety and skill . Patients labouring under this Disease , cannot be too cautious -Into whose hand they commit themselves . The propriety of this remark is abundantly manifested ij "the same' party frequently passing the ordeal of several Practitioners , before he is fortunate « nox | gh to obtam a perfect cure . The following are some « f the many symptoms that distinguish this Ifiseas © : — a general debility , eruptions on the head , face , and body ; ulcerated sore throats , scrofula , sweSitinga in . the neck , nodes on the shin bones , caneers , fistula ,, pains in the head and limbs , which are ieqaSjy ' mistaienrferiheumatism , &c . &c . Anti-tithe Agitation . —The following account of another anti-tithe meeting in the county of Wexford appears in the Dublin Freeman ' s Journal of this day : — . V "Davidstown , near EnniscOTthy , June 20 , "I was present yesterday ( Tuesday ) bX one of the greatest anti-tithe meetings which ever took place in this county . The requisition calling the .. meeting was most numerously and respectabl y signed . The ground on which , toe vast assemblage met was the Hill of Sheroughmore , in the parish of Ballindaggin . About l o ' clock the chair was taken byCaptaia Carew , of Mountfin , justice of the peace . Several most spirited resolutions were passed , in opposition
to tithes , and nothing could exceed the enthuriagm of the people , and their unalterable determination expressed , rather to die than ever pay tithes . Mr Hawkshaw . justice of the peace , was present . He was received with great cheering by the immense multitude ; but nothing could surpass the warm reception which was given to Thomas Cloney , Esq , of Craig , who , in company with the Rev . Martts Doyle , parish priest , and miny other gentlemen , came to the meeting from the tounty GarTow . Thera could not be less at the meeting than 30 ej 40 , 000 , without any exaggeration . There were 10 or 12 most respectable and most influential of the
catholic clergyjpresent : two of them spoke—th » Rev . James Walsh , of Newtownbarry , pariA priest , and also the Rev . C . Kavanag hY of Camolin . Both recommended the people to conduct themselves peaceably and quittiy , not to violate the lar , bat then at the same time to b £ firm and not to relax in their efforts until tithe was annihilated . They most _ strongl y inculcated the absolute necessitjof unanimity , and for all parishes to act alike as much as possible . They would not allow the 30 or 40 , 000 men , te taste even one glass of spirits on that daj . You may depend on it the people of the county ef Wexford never will be induced to pay tithe in any shape . '' : ¦ ' ' . '¦ ' '¦' - ' : ' ' " . '¦ . ¦"¦ '" ¦ ' ¦

By the arrival of the JRa ^ al Tar steamer , at Falmouth , from the Tagu 9 we have , received advices from Lisbon to the 19 th instantj-inclusive ,. The intelligence they bring ; : is painfully iinportant namely , the details of another attempt to effect * revolution by the assasswatio ^ Jof : the Eing , the Viscoun t Desada Bandeira , - and his ministerial colleagoe in the ; War I ) eparimteht . C The substance of this transactioii ^ may be ^ ^ iven ' in a . •¦ fcyr wdrdB . The 13 th arid 14 th inst ., are obWrved as religioua festivals in Portugal , the first being the anniversary of St . Antonio , patron spirit , of Lisbon , and the second the Catholic festival of Corpus Christie which
is celebrated with processions in ^ i 6 st Catholic countries . On the 14 th the KiiJgy'iu accordance with immemorial usage , attended- the procession but no violence was offered him till- his return to tbe donr of the Cathedral , whan he jsras assafled with the vilest epithets by the mob , the Constitution of 1820 without alterations called for , a . nd violent attempts made to prevent him from getting into his carriage ; Previously to this a mob had collected in the Cathedral-square , whtfe amilitary ; band was playing the anthem of Donna Maria , and furiously shouted for the ; revolutionary hymn of 1820 ; This demand was complied with , whereupon the 7 th
battalion of ; National Guards and several other sections of that body joined the rioters , shouting "Long live the Constitution of 1820 ! " A rush was now made towards the Cathedral , with a view as was seriously believed of assassinating- the King if he offered opposition . The 2 d Regiment of Casadorea were in attendance , and evinced such a determination to preserve the King , that the mob was prevented from getting hi * person into their ^ harids . He entered his carriage protected by the swords of big guards , and drove off at a rapid p 3 ce . The mob , now furious with rage and disappointment , caught sifjht of the Ex-Minister M . Jose da Silva Carralho , and bad it
not been for the promptitude of M . Costa Cabral , the Civil Governor , they would have murdered him on the spot Shouts of " Death to the tyrant" were raised on all sides ; and : in a struggle to open door of the e : [ -Minister's coach , his life was only preserved by the intrepidity of the Civil Governor , who coolly discharged a pistol at the head of one of the ruffians , which had the effect of throwing his companions into some confusion . The ooacb , surrounded by the rabble / stopped in the Rue dos Fingueiros , when the Viscount t ) a Sa Bandeira appeared at the head of some municipal guards , and commanded the mob to disperse . ; While be was in the act of speaking , one of the ruffians made a rush upon him , exclaiming " you are as great a traitor as they , " and struck him so violent
a blow on the breast with the bayonet , that the Viscount fell in the opinion of the by-standers inortally wounded . Fortunately for him the , blow aimed with such a deadly intent was arrested by the Star of the Order of the Tower and Sword which he wore on his breast , so that after perforating the decoration , the bayonet merely inflicted a slight flesh wound . The 2 nd Cacadores now made their appearance , and the mob quickly dispersed . Numerous patrols ofcavairy and infantry were called but to preserve the peace of tbe capital . Several pieces of
cannon were mounted in- the Alcantara : Square ; and , in the course of a few tours Lisbon presented the appearance of a city in a ttate of hostile decupation . The next day a Royal decree signid by the Queen commanded the dissolution of the Tth , 8 th , 14 th , 15 th , 16 th , and 17 th battalions of theIjfatiohal Guards of Lisbon , for having taken part in the revolutionary emeicte which we ^ ^ have'just described Another decree authorized the authorities to take such measures they ; might deem requisite for seizing and punishing the ringleaders . !
