and Pencil "'? , The preparation of the plates engraved for
this work having occupied a much longer time than was anticipatedthe publishers were
unable to issue it as soon , after the completion of * Charles Dickensby Pen and Pencil' as
announced in the prospectus , . I am happy & X Vnow to inform subscribers that
the first two parts will be ready immediately , and that parts 3 andf 4 will follow at reasonable
